Named for the American financier J. P. Morgan, morganite is beryl coloured pink by manganese — the youngest name in a very old family that also gives us emerald and aquamarine. Diamonds pick up its warmth. It reads 7.5-8 on the Mohs scale, sturdy enough for a ring worn often, and gentle heating to strengthen the pink is standard practice, disclosed on every piece. Made in our own workshop to our own design.
