Shipping policy

Every Ministry of Gems® parcel — loose gemstone or finished jewellery — is shipped fully insured and tracked, with signature on delivery.

Australia

Shipping is free on all orders within Australia, fully insured and tracked. Expedited, tracked and fully insured express shipping is available on request — email sales@ministryofgems.com.au and we will arrange the fastest secure method to your location.

International

We ship worldwide, fully insured and tracked. Orders to the United States travel by express courier with signature on delivery, and US customers can check out in USD. Email sales@ministryofgems.com.au to confirm delivery to your country before ordering.

Customs and import duties

Duties, taxes and fees are set by the destination country and are the recipient’s responsibility unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. For the United States, the former USD $800 duty-free ‘de minimis’ allowance was suspended on 29 August 2025 and has since been made indefinite, so every shipment now requires a customs entry and may attract duty regardless of value — and additional US tariffs currently apply to goods of Australian origin. Because the amount depends on how each piece is classified, email sales@ministryofgems.com.au before you order and we will confirm the position for your destination in writing.
