Teal & Parti Sapphires

Teal and parti sapphires are Australia's signature stones. Teal sapphires balance blue and green like deep ocean water; parti sapphires show two or more colours — most famously blue, green and gold — in a single stone, so no two are ever alike. Both come from the basalt fields of Inverell and Anakie, and every one we offer is natural and FGAA-assessed in-house.

As a mine-to-market house we take these stones from our own Australian sources through cutting and grading to your hands, with full treatment disclosure, certification on request, and free lifetime re-authentication.

Common questions

What is a parti sapphire?

A parti sapphire is a natural sapphire that displays two or more distinct colours within a single stone — most famously the blue, green and golden-yellow zoning found in Australian sapphires. Because the colour zoning is unique to each crystal, no two parti sapphires are exactly alike.

What is a teal sapphire?

A teal sapphire is a natural sapphire whose colour sits between blue and green — like deep ocean water. Teal is a hallmark of Australian sapphire fields and has become a modern favourite for engagement rings.

Where do teal and parti sapphires come from?

The world's finest teal and parti sapphires come from the basalt belt of eastern Australia, around Inverell in New South Wales and Anakie in Queensland — the fields our own Australian sapphires are drawn from.

Are teal and parti sapphires natural?

Yes — the teal and parti sapphires we offer are natural stones, FGAA-assessed in-house with full treatment disclosure. Their remarkable colours are formed by nature, not manufactured.
