Pairing opal with diamond puts the softest and the hardest gem species in one piece: 5.5 to 6.5 against 10 on the Mohs scale. Practically, that means the diamonds look after themselves and the opal sets the care routine — soft cloth, mild soapy water, no ultrasonic, no steam. Worn with that in mind, it is a piece for occasions rather than rough days. Designed and handcrafted in our own workshop, with every stone assessed by our FGAA gemmologist.
