Morganite is the pink member of the beryl family, a relative of emerald and aquamarine, coloured by traces of manganese. It sits around 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale — hard enough for regular wear but softer than diamond, so it prefers gentler handling and a rest from the ultrasonic. Heat treatment to clear yellow tones is routine in this species and disclosed. Rosie is designed by Ministry of Gems and handcrafted in our own workshop.
