What size ring should I order?
The Australian men's average is size T (19.5 mm inside diameter), and T, U and V account for more than half of men's rings sold. Every page lists Australian and UK letters with millimetres, we send a free ring sizer on request, and one resize within ninety days is complimentary. Order half a size up for bands 8 mm and wider.
Can my ring be engraved?
Yes. Every men's ring takes a hidden engraving inside the band, and the signets take hand-engraved initials, a date or a monogram on the shoulders. Add it on the product page or tell us at your viewing; interior engraving is from A$90 and hand engraving from A$180, confirmed with you before we begin.
Are the stones natural, and where are they from?
Every stone is natural and examined in-house by our FGAA gemmologist. Sapphires come from our own Ceylon fields and from the Australian gemfields, opals are Australian, and onyx is cut to the face of the ring. Origin, treatment status and dimensions are stated on each product page and carried on the piece's Gemstone Passport.
How long does a ring take, and in which metals?
Each ring is made to order in our own workshop, most in two to four weeks. Choose solid 9K, 14K, 18K or 21K gold in yellow, white or rose; platinum is available on request. The price shown is the 9K starting configuration.
Can I see the rings before I decide?
Yes. Private viewings are held at our Pitt Street showroom in Sydney, Monday to Friday, by appointment. Book a consultation and we will have the pieces, and loose stones if you wish to choose your own, ready for you.
How do I care for a men's gemstone ring?
Wear it on last and take it off first. Avoid knocks, harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners, and wipe with a soft damp cloth. Sapphire is among the hardest of gems and suits daily wear; opal and onyx prefer a little more care. Re-authentication is free for as long as you own the ring.
