A halo does two things at once: it draws a bright frame around the centre gem so the eye reads it as larger, and it puts a ring of material between that stone and the world. On a pendant the effect is quieter than on a ring, since the piece hangs and turns with you. Stones are hand-selected and assessed by our FGAA gemmologist, treatment disclosed; the design and the making are both ours.
