A dragon is an old subject for a jeweller and a demanding one, since the motif has to hold its character at a small scale. Opal makes a fitting companion for it — hydrated silica whose colour comes from diffraction and never sits still. At 5.5 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale it belongs at the neck rather than on the hand. Designed by Ministry of Gems and handcrafted in our own workshop.
