Where pink sapphire ends and ruby begins is a matter of saturation rather than species — both are corundum, and the boundary is drawn by the gemmologist rather than by nature. Worn as a ring, that pink stays even and does not fade with sunlight. At Mohs 9 it handles everyday wear, and cleans in warm soapy water. Heat treatment is usual and disclosed. Designed and handcrafted in our own workshop.
