Copper is what separates Paraíba from other tourmaline — it produces the electric blue-green glow the name is known for. First found in Brazil, later in Mozambique and Nigeria, it remains among the scarcest coloured stones a jeweller can source. At 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale the species takes regular wear, though it is happier spared heavy work. Hand-selected by our FGAA gemmologist, designed and handcrafted in our own workshop.
