Pink spinel holds its colour cleanly, without the secondary tones that can muddy other pink gems, and it does so without heat — spinel is one of the few coloured species that reaches the market largely untreated. At 8 on the Mohs scale it is a practical choice for a ring in constant wear. Designed by Ministry of Gems, handcrafted in our own workshop, assessed here in Sydney by our FGAA gemmologist.
