Set aside the folklore and rose quartz is simply quartz, the same species as amethyst, its pink natural rather than the product of treatment. At 7 on the Mohs scale it suits a ring worn with some awareness of what it knocks against, and the colour keeps best out of direct sun, since strong light over years can weaken it. Designed by Ministry of Gems and handcrafted in our own workshop, assessed by our FGAA gemmologist.
