Rubellite is the pink-to-red face of tourmaline, and the name properly belongs only to stones that keep their colour under artificial light rather than drifting toward brown. Inclusions are characteristic of the variety, so clean material is scarce. At 7 to 7.5 on Mohs it wears well with sensible care. Any clarity enhancement is identified and disclosed by our FGAA gemmologist. Designed by Ministry of Gems and handcrafted in our own workshop.
