Earrings are a forgiving home for topaz. The species sits at 8 on the Mohs scale but has a distinct cleavage plane, and ears see far fewer knocks than hands do. Topaz also takes a high polish, which is part of why it reads so brightly in movement. Treatment is common across the species and is disclosed here. Designed in-house, handcrafted in our own workshop, each stone assessed by our FGAA gemmologist.
