Garnet is not one stone but a family: the deep red most people picture, the vivid green of tsavorite, the mandarin orange of spessartine. Every garnet here is natural and assessed in-house by our FGAA-qualified gemmologist, set to order in 9K to 18K gold.

Care
Warm soapy water. Usually safe in an ultrasonic unless the stone is fractured. Avoid sudden temperature change.
Why ours. Honest, untreated colour from red to green to mandarin orange, at a sane price. Most garnets are untreated. Fracture filling exists but is rare, and we disclose it when present.

A January gift has one quiet advantage: most garnets are not treated at all, so the colour you give is the colour the earth made. At 6.5 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale garnet is at home in earrings and pendants, and comfortable in a ring with a protective setting.
